The meeting was held on 26 August 2019 at the presidential palace, with the participation of forum members, civil society organizations, ministries and government departments involved in the NAP-II -commitments. The meeting was chaired by Abdul Subhan Rauf, Deputy of Policy, Monitoring and Evaluation to the Office of the Chief of Staff to the President and head of Multi-stakeholder Forum of Afghanistan.
Abdul Subhan Rauf welcomed the guests and said that according to the decision made at the previous meeting, technical issues of National Action Plan-II are proceeded by 5 civil society organizations, while they have also provided a report on the consultative workshops and proposed commitments in provinces and Kabul as well as hopeful that participants will share their comments and thoughts for further enrichment of the report.
IrfanErzaz from Integrity Watch Afghanistan presented his report on the consultative workshops and proposed commitments in provinces and Kabul and said that they have collected 50-60 commitments from each workshop and are now trying to compile all the commitments.
In the end, participants shared their suggestions and asked questions which were answered by Khalil Rahman Motawakil, Director of Open Government partnership Afghanistan.
The meeting was wrapped- up with a positive conclusion by Abdul Subhan Rauf.
